Description
Gunpowder green tea is a variety of green tea from the Camellia sinensis plant that is prepared slightly differently and has unique properties and health benefits. The leaves are rolled into tight, small pellets, resembling the old style of gunpowder pellets, why the name. This preparation allows the leaves to retain far more of their nutrients, including a slightly higher caffeine level than other green teas. The flavor is a bold, smoky, earthy, and metallic.
We always use environmentally friendly packaging of our teas. We never use candy, sugar, or flavorings in our teas.
