Description
Jin Xuan Milk Oolong – Fujian Chinese Oolong Tea
Naturally creamy, aromatic, and beautifully smooth, this Jin Xuan Milk Oolong is a Chinese-grown expression of the celebrated Taiwanese Jin Xuan tea cultivar.
Originally developed in Taiwan, Jin Xuan is known for its naturally soft texture and characteristic nai xiang, often described as a creamy or milky fragrance. This selection is grown at approximately 1,100 meters on Tai Hua Mountain in Anxi County, Fujian Province, China, where the leaves are hand-picked and traditionally processed.
A light roast helps develop the tea’s natural aromatic character, revealing a smooth, creamy fragrance without the addition of milk or dairy. The cup is highly aromatic yet refined, with a subtle sweetness, soft mouthfeel, and lingering finish.
Although commonly called Milk Oolong, the name describes the naturally creamy character associated with Jin Xuan. No milk or dairy is used in the processing of this tea.
This Fujian-grown Jin Xuan offers an intriguing meeting of Taiwanese cultivar and Chinese terroir, allowing the character of the leaf, growing environment, and traditional oolong processing to speak for themselves.
Cultivate Taste Tea offers pure tea selected for the character of the leaf itself: no added sugar, candy, milk, or flavorings.
