A few my favorite things for mothers

I do not have my place anymore and got a little sad because I still get requests to book my old place for meetings, bridal/baby showers/etc….  The top portion was absolutely gorgeous and as soon as anyone saw it they were instantly smitten. I had to reject another request today. I miss giving out tulips to mothers and having kids and dads spoiling mothers at my place.  Valentine’s Day and Mother’s day almost always were busy and reservations were recommended. Some Mother’s Day teas and tisanes pictured, but actually, any tea would work if the mother liked it. Rose Niligiri top, Lemon Rose Green bottom left, and Lavender Green Rooibos bottom right.

Weather in Wisconsin

The Eclectic Market was good, though a little slow.  The weather is most likely the reason because there were a lot of really great vendors and it was snowing. I still did decently.  Sunday when I did not have any event the weather was nice.  Monday evening when I had my class, we had an ice storm, so I had to cancel my class.  Welcome to Wisconsin and winter here.  Ok, it is not as bad as the picture I used.

Hopefully, soon I can have some time to make some more blends. I have a couple ideas but want to see how they turn out before saying what they are.  I enjoy preparing my classes and getting ready for vendor events, but haven’t done any blending in a while and kinda want to do some of that.  Hopefully soon.

I should also take care of a shipment I received from Taiwan.  Some really nice oolongs.

Japanese Tea Tasting

This Saturday I will hopefully be doing a Japanese tea tasting and Japanese tea history. Hopefully Friday I will hear good news about a potential prospect.  Today I had a meeting with a lady to partner with her and someone else, details will come once some things get more formalized.  Next Monday evening I will be teaching another free Tea 101 class, aka intro to tea.

I think my next post will be more informative than telling my goings on.  Hopefully, my writing will also be better than that last sentence, lol.

Have exciting things in the works

Well, I have my Tea 101 class at the 9th Street Wellness Center in Green Bay at 10 am Saturday, February 3, 2018.  It is a free class, so join us!  A little nervous and excited at the same time. I hope it goes well.

I hopefully will have a good meeting with a company on Friday that we might work together and another meeting Monday with a person that is in the stages of hopefully working together. Fingers crossed and if they come true I will be happy to announce the details.  I am cautiously optimistic about this year, heavy on the cautious part.

Oh my crafting with cats with a side of tea too

This Sunday I will be helping Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary Inc.  Mind you I am only doing a minor part in this event.  The main sponsors are Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary and Yummy Pup Pet Treats.  I am just selling some tea. They are a lovely organization that helps cats who have been injured or traumatized in some way and finding them loving homes.  This is a really good organization to donate and maybe adopt a cat.

Soon some of the events will be happening.  Cannot wait.  I should have written this a couple days ago I was totally in the writing mood.

Winter Wonderland on Monday

I am glad I did not have to drive Monday.  Not sure how the roads were, but it did look pretty out the window.  It was a little perpetual snowfall throughout the day like a snow globe.  Monday was the perfect day to cozy up with a cup of tea and a blanket.

Have a few more events happening.  I am doing a tea tasting series at Amery Ale Works.  The first one is called Japanese Tea Tasting and will be

I will also be teaching two Tea 101 classes, Tea Health class, and Different Tea Cultures class at 9th Street Wellness Center in Green Bay.  It is not until February so check back with the 9th Street Wellness Center events page for my classes.

Eclectic Market

Had a blast at the Eclectic Market Saturday. Here is a video was taken by the owner of Art Glass and Supply where the market was held.  It sounds like they are holding another one next month and been asked to be a vendor. Hopefully, this type of thing continues, we shall see.

Live from The Eclectic Market! 🙌🏼 Here 12-5!
